Being Left Out

Do you ever get the feeling during a group conversation,
That you have become just a mannequin?
Sometimes it's the topic, sometimes it's the language,
You just want to walk out without being savage.
They become almost unaware of your presence,
And your being there makes absolutely no sense.
You try so hard to indulge yourself in something or the other,
But the hollow feeling if being ignored increases further.
But the worst part is that,
You don't want to indulge in their chat.
Because once you actually get involved in it,
You become the laughing stock because you don't really fit.
No matter the topic, you'll get laughed upon every time,
Because, for them, your opinion is not even worth a dime.
The facial expression might show you don't care,
Yet deep down, there is a raging flare.
Because there's no worse feeling in the world than being left out,
It's those "friends's"  way of saying, "You're not required. Turn about."
